Megajacks is a jackpot that can be won with the Playtech software game of the same name. Megajacks is a nice little jackpot that is frequently won and ascends in value quickly.

The Megajacks game is a video poker game that requires jacks or better for a winning hand, so if you don’t get at least a pair of jacks, you won’t win anything. The coin value is 25 cents, and the maximum bet is five coins, so even betting the max won’t break your wallet. Like with most video poker games, you will have a chance to choose cards to keep and cards to discard in this one.

An extra wrinkle is that after a winning hand, you can choose to try to double your winnings in a bonus game. The bonus game consists of the dealer having a face up card, with you having to pick a face down card that will hopefully be higher than the dealer’s card. If it is, you double your earnings, but if it isn’t, you lose your winnings from that hand. Of course, the bonus game is completely optional.

How to Win this Jackpot?

To win the jackpot, you have to bet the maximum amount (again, with five coins it would cost $1.25 to bet the maximum) and get the highest hand in poker, a royal flush. There is no bonus game to double your winnings if you win the progressive jackpot, of course.

While a royal flush is not easy to get, this jackpot is still won nearly every day. From the seed amount of $300, the average win has been a respectable $1,486. Meanwhile the extreme ends of the scale have been a low win of $408 and a high win of $5,025.
